As we are all aware, the Nyingma Buddhist Association (USA) Inc. has been annually organizing and observing the sacred Tsechu celebration of the Monkey Month — the holy birth anniversary of Guru Padmasambhava — with great devotion over two days each year. Accordingly, this year’s sacred event will be held on July 18 and 19, 2026 (Saturday and Sunday), in conjunction with the auspicious occasion of Chokhor Duchen (the Festival of Turning the Wheel of Dharma), which falls on the 4th day of the 6th Tibetan month. The celebration will be observed over two days.

This year’s program has been arranged in accordance with our heartfelt prayers and aspirations, and especially to coincide with the USA visit of our principal guest, His Holiness Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche.

Under the gracious presence of His Holiness Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche:

On the first day:

The oral transmission (Lung) of the Thubchok Jinlap Terdzod associated with Chokhor Duchen will be bestowed, along with a grand Tsok (Ganachakra) offering ceremony within the mandala of Lama Sangdü.

On the second day:

The Amitayus Long-Life Empowerment will be conferred. Therefore, we sincerely request all devoted followers of Guru Padmasambhava, as well as all Dharma friends throughout New York, New Jersey, and across the United States who share the same faith and samaya, to kindly participate in this sacred gathering and receive its blessings and merit.
