Retreat's Buddha House

While the Stupa was being renovated at the retreat, Dungsey Namgay Dawa Rinpoche decided to embark on renovating the Buddha House. On Saturday morning, October 24th, the Bhutanese group arrived to remove old bed frames and furnitures from each of the rooms:

Once the rooms in the Buddha house were cleared, Rinpoche, throughout the week, contacted nearby flooring business to work with. Eventually he found one, and on October 30th, the workers arrived with materials and tools to start removing the rug and install vinyl woods in each room. At the request of Rinpoche, they started with room number 1 and 2:

The work took two days, with the workers returning to polish and install the trimmings for the floor. The next day on November 2nd, volunteering sangha members started to install the bed frames and the closets to place into each room:

During winter of 2020, due to the harsh weather condition, the installations of the floorings in the Buddha House were put on a halt. Eventually the project resumed on March 14th, 2021, when Lopon Lulu, and the Crew started to clear Buddha House room number 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and the Kitchen.

On March 24th, Keith from Tip Top Furniture came to install floorings for Buddha House number 4 and 5, which he finished within a day.

The next day, Keith returned to complete room number 5, 6 and 7:

On Tuesday, March 30th, Keith returned to install new floorings for the dining hall of the Buddha House, and later that week Lopon Lulu and John brought tables and chairs to rearrange in the hall:
